My coworker told me to switch to a dotted notebook and I finally see why

I was using a lined notebook for my bullet journal for over a year, and my coworker Jamie kept saying dots would make layouts easier. Last month I finally bought a dotted Leuchtturm and everything from my habit tracker to my weekly spread came out way cleaner. Has anyone else had trouble making the switch from lines to dots or is it just me?

Is it really that big of a deal though? I mean, dots versus lines, it's just paper, right? I get what @the_daniel is saying about the corners, but it still sounds like a lot of work for a notebook.

Dots definitely take some getting used to. I almost gave up after the first week because my lines were all over the place. But once I realized you can use the dots as corner guides for boxes, like four dots make a perfect 2x2 square for a habit tracker. That one trick changed everything for me.
