The hotel room that made me buy velcro strips

Was staying at a Holiday Inn in Akron last month for a job bid and the TV cabinet was just... a nightmare of cords. I mean, the desk had a tangle that looked like a rats nest, all these HDMI and power cables just piled up. The front desk guy saw me staring at it and goes "yeah, we gave up on that years ago." Got home and immediately ordered a roll of adhesive velcro strips for behind my own TV, now I zip tie everything in sections. Has anyone else had a random hotel or office space suddenly make you rethink your whole setup?

Getting home after seeing that mess and immediately ordering velcro is so relatable though. Hotel cable management nightmares have definitely sparked a few late night purchases for me too. It's crazy how one bad setup can make you reevaluate your whole entertainment center.
