DAE compare zip ties vs velcro for the mess behind the TV? Velcro won by a mile for me
Last Saturday I finally pulled the TV off the wall in my living room in Reno and dealt with the nest of wires back there. First I zip tied everything into neat bundles like I always did, then I stepped back and remembered I needed to swap out the soundbar cable. Out came the scissors and I cut three ties just to reach one cord. Second round I used velcro straps instead and the difference was night and day. I can add or move a cable in about 10 seconds now, and nothing slides loose over time. Zip ties are still fine for the run along the baseboard where nothing changes, but behind a TV velcro just makes more sense. What do you all use for the stuff you might need to get to later?
