Hot take: I hit 500 yards of carpet installed on one job last week and it changed my mind about seaming tape.
Always thought the expensive tape was a waste, but after that much yardage with zero callbacks, I'm switching for good - anyone else find the cost worth it on big runs?

Respectfully, I've had the opposite experience with the expensive tape on big jobs... had it actually fail on me twice when the temperature dropped. The cheap stuff I've been using for years has never let me down across similar yardage.
