Swapped out my weekly 6-dollar floppy pull for a digital subscription 3 years ago and now I miss holding the physical paper

I used to drive 20 minutes to the shop every Wednesday for my X-Men fix, but after moving to digital in 2020 I notice I skim through the stories way faster and never go back to reread a panel the way I did with a paper copy in my hands, anyone else feel like the screen changes how you connect with the art?

Kind of like how nobody lingers on an Instagram photo the way they used to stare at a physical print.

Scrolling is just scanning, not really seeing anything the way you did with a print in your hands.
