Rant: Wasted $1,200 on a cheap flooring install from a guy on Craigslist

I hired a guy in Austin to lay down luxury vinyl plank in my kitchen for $1,200 cash, and he didn't level the subfloor at all. Now I've got three tiles that popped up within a week and the seams are separating. Has anyone else had luck getting a proper installer to fix someone else's mess?

Oh man, a thousand two hundred bucks cash? That stings bad. I don't get how someone can call themselves a flooring guy and just skip leveling the subfloor, that's like the whole point. Did he at least use some cheap self-leveler or just throw the planks down on a wavy surface? I'd be furious looking at those popped tiles and separated seams every time I walk in the kitchen.
