A client with 3 inches of new growth in 4 months swears it was the rice water, but I think it was the heat protectant
She came in Tuesday for a trim and I could not stop staring at her ends, so now I am wondering if rice water is really doing the work or if she just stopped flat ironing at 450 degrees, and I want to know what you all think before I start recommending it.
The heat protectant is the real MVP here, no question. I had a client swear by some oil she found on TikTok and her growth was decent but her ends stopped splitting once she dropped the 450 flat iron, funny how that works.
