Finally got a client to stop using box dye

Last month, a regular came in with that familiar orange tint and fried ends. I showed her a picture of her hair from three years ago, before she started doing it herself, and she finally agreed to let me do a full color correction. Has anyone else found a gentle way to break that habit?

I read that showing before and after pictures can be the most convincing way.

Yeah I saw something about that too! They said it works because people can see the change for themselves. Makes total sense.
