Finally sorted my home salon storage after putting it off
I bought some clear bins and labeled everything by product type. Now I can find what I need in seconds, which makes my morning routine smooth.

Wondering if we're overthinking bottle storage here. It's nail polish, not a library filing system. Labeling every single color seems like a fast track to abandoning the whole project next week when you're tired. The real test is if you still care about the labels after you actually use something and just toss it back in the bin.

Tell me more about how you split up the product types. I mean, did you go super specific, like separate bins for every single nail polish color, or keep it broader like all base coats together? I'm trying to picture the labels because my own stuff is a jumble of half-used bottles and loose tools. Getting the categories right seems like the hardest part to make it actually last.

Saw a blog post that said to sort by how you actually reach for things, not just type. So for me, @mila_murray56, I keep all base and top coats together in one bin, but I split colors just into warm tones and cool tones. Tools like clippers and files get their own small box so they don't get lost in the bottles. That middle ground stopped me from making a label for every single shade, which felt like too much work.
