PSA: stop using those tiny flat irons on thick curly hair
I had a client with 4C hair last week and her old 1 inch iron took 45 minutes just to straighten one section, then it frizzed by hour two. Tried a 2 inch ceramic plate with higher heat and it cut the whole job to 25 minutes with way less damage. Anyone else notice the plate width makes that much of a difference on coarse textures?

Wider plates made a huge difference on my thick hair too.
