Unpopular opinion: detailed worldbuilding prompts are killing creativity, not helping it

I tried running a prompt last week that gave like 3 paragraphs of setting lore before asking for a story. Got zero replies and realized I was overloading people before they could even write. On the flip side, a minimalist prompt I posted got 15 responses in 2 hours. Is it better to give just enough context or do yall prefer having all the details upfront before you start writing?

Like @perez.barbara said, less is more. I read a study about how too much info just makes people tune out.

Less is more. Those long lore dumps just scare people off before they can even get started.
