Took me 4 hours to find a single open port on my router because the UI was hiding it behind a 'more settings' button

The manual said it was under 'port forwarding' but it was actually labeled 'virtual server' with zero explanation. Has anyone else wasted an afternoon hunting down a feature that was just renamed for no reason?

Same thing happened to me with an old Netgear router... spent an hour looking for "QoS settings" only to find them under "Traffic Meter" or something weird like that. What finally helped was just searching online for my exact router model number plus the feature name. Found a forum post from 2018 that showed the exact menu path. Ended up bookmarking that page because I know I'll forget again next time I need to change something.

Yeah @faithb78, that's why I just use a Linksys now, the menus actually make sense and don't hide stuff in weird places like "Advanced Stuff.
