My buddy told me I was ruining my photos by centering everything
I used to put my subject right in the middle of every shot, thought that looked clean. He said try the rule of thirds for a week, just move stuff to the side or corners. Has anyone else had a small composition change totally fix their pictures?

Honestly man, centering works fine for most stuff. People overthink this rule of thirds thing like it's some magic fix. If your buddy can't look at a centered photo without complaining, that's on him.
