Can we talk about that injector puller I bought from a random truck stop in Ohio

I dropped $150 on a puller at a Pilot in Ohio last month because I was in a hurry and figured it'd do the job. Turned out the threads stripped on the third injector and I had to borrow a Snap-on from a buddy to finish the job. Anyone else get burned by roadside tool purchases like that?

Yeah, I once bought a "heavy duty" ratchet strap from a gas station that snapped on my first load and sent a cooler flying into a ditch. Guess we both learned the hard way that roadside tools are more about good intentions than actual strength.

You ever have one of those moments where you're like "nah, I'm being a cheapskate for no reason, this gas station strap will be fine"? Because I used to totally think that way. I figured a strap is a strap, how different could they really be? Then I watched my brother's bungee cords launch a patio chair into a neighbor's fence faster than I could blink. That was the exact moment I stopped being stubborn about spending a few extra bucks at the hardware store. Sometimes you just gotta learn the hard way that some savings aren't worth the headache.
