That one Saturday I tried to build a patio on a slope and ended up with 3 levels by lunch
I spent 4 hours leveling the ground with a rented plate compactor from Home Depot, only to realize my string lines were off by 2 inches, so now I've got a tiered flagstone mess that actually looks kinda cool but definitely wasn't the plan.
