Just realized my neighbor's suggestion about using a fish tank pump instead of a regular air pump changed my whole fog machine setup
He said the steady pressure gives way better vapor output than those cheap oscillating ones, and after swapping mine out last weekend I'm getting consistent fog for the first time in months, has anyone else tried this trick with a different pump type?

Wait, you actually tried this and it worked? I was the same way, I saw a similar tip online a while back and thought it was just overthinking it. But after getting tired of my fog machine choking out every few minutes, I grabbed an old aquarium pump I had lying around and hooked it up. The difference was honestly way bigger than I expected, it's so much smoother and consistent. I mean, I get why people say it's overkill, but if you have a spare pump sitting around, it's definitely worth a shot.

Bruh is it really that deep though? A fish tank pump over a regular one probably works fine but calling it a "game changer" for a fog machine feels like a bit much. Just set the thing up and call it a day.
