Did you try cutting the pg with a little distilled water first? When I made the switch I got that same harsh throat hit until I thinned it out to like 70/30 pg/water and let it steep for an extra 3 days. Ended up working way better for blowback effects and the fog actually hung around longer too.

Distilled water is a game changer honestly. Took the bite right out for me too lol.
