Can we talk about how I thought 3D modeling for ductwork was just extra busywork

My boss made me model a whole hospital wing in Revit last month, and it caught three major clashes before we even cut metal. Anyone else get forced into a new method that actually paid off?

Honestly this happens with so much new tech at first. It just feels like extra steps until you see it actually fix a huge problem. Kinda makes you wonder what else we're doing the hard way for no reason.

It's like we're all still using fax machines for some stuff and don't even know it.

That Revit saved us 15 grand in rework on an office building project.
