I finally understood why my section views were always a mess
I was rushing the cut line placement for years, but a senior drafter in Charlotte showed me his 2-minute setup trick that locks everything down. Has anyone else had a simple fix that saved them hours of cleanup?

Oh man, I read a blog post once that called it "preemptive drafting." The guy said to always draw your cut line on a separate, non-plotting layer first, then run the section command using that as your guide. It forces you to think about the alignment before you even make the view.
