Tried using a single ultrawide instead of my dual 27s and it backfired hard

I switched to a 49-inch ultrawide last month thinking it'd clean up my desk and be the same thing. Turns out my brain hates having to look all the way to the left or right for side content. With my two monitors I could keep a main task centered and a reference on either side without moving my head. Lost about 3 hours a week just from screwing around with window snapping that still never feels right. Anyone else try ultrawide and go back to dual setup?

Agreed @wesley_hart, it just feels right. I wasted way too much time and money chasing the latest fad and ended up right back where I started. There's something about the old stuff that just works without all the hassle. It's almost like the "upgrades" were just changes for the sake of being different.
