Wasted $80 on a fancy monitor arm that didn't fit my desk
Bought a gas spring arm for my second monitor but the clamp wouldn't work with my desk's back lip, so it's just sitting in a box now. Anyone else run into desk shape problems with monitor mounts?

Honestly I used to think any monitor arm would work with any desk, but after dealing with my own weird desk lip situation I totally get it now. That wasted money feeling is rough.

@rileyjones you got me thinking. Straight up tossed my arm too after realizing my desk was too thick.
