I finally gave in and bought a proper cable labeling machine for the shop

After labeling a 42-panel board by hand with a marker last month, I spent $150 on a Brady labeler. The time saved and professional look on the finished job was immediate. What's your go-to method for keeping control room terminations clear?

What do you do when you need to label something that won't take a sticker? I keep a roll of heat shrink tube next to the Brady for cable ends. Print a label, slip the tube over, heat it up, and it's permanent. No more smeared ink or peeling stickers on patch cables.

My old method was a marker and a prayer. The Brady is a game changer for sure. Looks pro and saves so much headache.

Sorry @lee_grant97, but what do you do when the Brady label rolls get stuck or jam up? Mine always seems to act up at the worst possible time.
