Trying to get a stubborn comedone out of my own nose turned into a 45 minute ordeal

I was convinced it was a quick fix, but that one pore on the side of my nostril just would not clear, even with proper extraction tools and steam, which made me realize how much patience we actually need for some clients.

Honestly, 45 minutes on one pore sounds like a lot. Maybe just leave it alone next time.

My cousin Sarah once spent an entire movie's runtime, like an hour and a half, trying to get a splinter out of her thumb. It becomes this weird mission where you just can't stop. I get what @jade3 is saying about leaving it, but sometimes the brain just won't let you walk away. You start and then you're in too deep, convinced the next try will be the one that works. It's a special kind of frustration.
