PSA: I picked a wired mouse over a wireless one for my home office and it's been great

Everyone told me to go wireless for a clean desk, but I got tired of my old one needing a new battery every 2 weeks. I bought a basic Logitech wired mouse for $15 last month and haven't had a single drop or lag during video calls. It feels more solid and I never have to think about charging it. Has anyone else stuck with wired stuff and been happy about it?

I feel like a fool for buying into the wireless hype. My desk looks clean but I spent more time charging things than using them. Sometimes old tech is just smarter.

My husband bought me a fancy wireless mouse for Christmas one year and the battery died during a video call with my boss, which was just mortifying. I switched to a cheap wired one and it's been a relief not having to babysit my mouse anymore.

Honestly, I switched back to a wired keyboard last year and it's been so much better. No more random disconnects in the middle of typing an email, and I don't have to dig for batteries. It just works every single time I sit down. Sometimes the simple, reliable choice is the best one.
