Tried using a mesh laundry bag for my phone cords and it actually worked

I got tired of untangling charging cables every morning so I threw them in a mesh laundry bag about 2 weeks ago. Figured they'd just twist up inside there but nope, they came out straight every time. I keep the bag hanging on a hook near my nightstand now. It cost me like $3 at the dollar store and took maybe 30 seconds to set up. The only catch is you gotta zip it shut or they spill out when you grab it. Has anyone else found a random household item that helped their cable mess?

My mate used a sunglasses case for charging cables and swears by it now.

Oh yeah, that's actually genius. Sunglasses cases are the perfect size for keeping cables from turning into a tangled mess. Beats digging through a drawer of knots every morning.

The "perfect size" part gets me. Sunglasses cases are okay for like one short cable. But I've got a drawer full. Phone chargers. Laptop cords. Old USB cables. They don't fit. You end up just stuffing them in. Same problem. I'd rather use a small pencil case. Or even those mesh bags. At least then you can actually see what's inside without opening ten cases.
