Can we talk about how GPS tracking apps ruin driver trust?
I was parked at a job site in Austin last Tuesday, eating my lunch in the van, when my boss calls me asking why I hadn't moved in 45 minutes. He was watching my dot on the screen. I told him I was on break and he said I should have marked it in the system. Now we got these things watching every single move, and my guys complain they feel like they're being followed. I get the need for efficiency, but isn't there a line between managing and babysitting? How do you handle this with your crews?
