Rant: Bought 'The Tunnel' from a random seller and got a blank tape
I paid $30 for a supposedly rare Australian found footage movie called The Tunnel on DVD from some eBay seller. When I popped it in, the disc was completely blank, just a static menu screen that did nothing. Tried it on two different players, same result. Seller ghosted me after I messaged them, so I'm out the cash and still haven't seen the movie. Anyone else get burned on a bootleg or fake copy from these random online shops?

Bought a copy of Begotten on VHS from a guy on Craigslist back in 2019 for $40. Turned out it was just a blank tape with a handwritten label that said "Begotten" in sharpie. No movie, just static and some weird buzzing noise for 90 minutes. Seller blocked me after I asked for a refund. Now I just stick to known boutique labels or official releases when I can find them.

Begotten was actually released on DVD by Mondo Macabro in 2006, so the original poster probably just got scammed.
