Our game of Betrayal at House on the Hill completely fell apart last night
We were about an hour in, right after the haunt started, and my friend's dog jumped on the table. The whole board flipped, sending every tile and mini flying. We spent 20 minutes just finding pieces under the couch. We decided to call it and just ordered pizza instead. Anyone have tips for securing a game board from pets?

Oh man, the board flipping is the WORST. I put those non slip rubber mats, the kind for rugs, under my game tablecloth. It keeps everything from sliding around when my cat gets crazy.

Honestly, I used to think those rubber mats were overkill for board game night. That changed after my roommate's new kitten decided the Catan board was a launchpad. Pieces went everywhere, we lost the robber for a week. Now a cheap shelf liner goes under the play area every single time. It doesn't stop the pet from jumping up, but at least the game stays put when they do.
