We used to start our game nights at 8 PM sharp, now we aim for 'whenever the pizza shows up'

The change happened after three weeks in a row where someone was stuck in traffic or finishing a work call. Now the rule is we don't roll dice until the delivery guy from Tony's gets his tip. Anyone else just build the start time around food now?

Honestly, our game nights now revolve entirely around the garlic knots arriving.

Ever notice how the best part of a plan becomes the whole point? Like how a coffee break turns into the reason you started the project, or the intermission is why you bought the concert ticket. The garlic knots aren't just a snack, they're the event clock now. It's funny how we build these little rituals around the thing we're looking forward to, and then the main activity just becomes the waiting room.

Wonder if the garlic knot delivery time is secretly setting the game's pace. Like, you make risky plays right before they show up because you know you'll be distracted and full soon. Changes the whole strategy.
