My fridge is a total mess but I saw a neat trick at a friend's house in Austin

They used a cheap plastic bin for all their condiments, and it actually made things way easier to find. Now my fridge is still a disaster, but at least the hot sauces are all in one spot. Anyone have a good system for organizing produce that's about to go bad?

Try putting that produce on the top shelf.

Top shelf is a dream for someone my height. The struggle is real when you're staring at a wall of avocados. My strategy involves a lot of awkward climbing on the bottom cart rail. Usually ends with me knocking over a display of oranges instead. What's your go-to move for the high stuff?

Put a clean dish towel on the bottom shelf and lay out stuff like bell peppers, tomatoes, and avocados in a single layer. Keeps them from bruising and you can SEE everything before it turns. Also pick up those mesh produce bags from the dollar store and hang em on the inside of the door for things like lemons and limes. They get air and you won't find a mushy lemon behind the milk three weeks later.
