My brother told me to skip the primer on a storefront job and I should have known better

He swore the new adhesive would stick to the old aluminum frame without it, so I went along to save time. We did a whole block of shops in Decatur last month, about 15 doors total. Tbh, I got a call from the first shop owner yesterday saying the glass is already starting to shift. Anyone else had a bad tip from family that cost them a callback?

My uncle swore this "miracle" floor cleaner would strip old wax in one pass. I spent six hours on my knees scrubbing a 10x12 kitchen floor before I gave up and rented a buffer.

Classic" is right. My cousin talked me into using a cheaper sealant on a bathroom remodel, saying it was just as good. I ended up redoing all the tile work the next year.
