Warning: I almost went with a super clean, minimalist logo for a local brewery.

I picked a more textured, hand-drawn style instead because it felt more authentic to their story. The client loved it, said it 'looked like it had history' even though it was new. Anyone else find clients are pushing back on ultra-clean design lately?

Yeah, clients are totally over that sterile look now, right?

Switched to warm textures and they loved it, what are you trying next?

Totally. Last project swapped out a big white wall for a wood slat feature. Even the lighting changed from cool white to a soft, warm glow. Threw in a really worn-in leather chair instead of a new one. The whole vibe just felt lived-in and calm, not like a doctor's office. That small shift made the biggest difference.
