Just blew up my own ship 3 times in a row in Sea of Thieves trying to do a 'cool' maneuver

I was trying to do a harpoon turn near an outpost in Golden Sands and ended up crashing into a rock, then a dock, then a parked sloop that wasn't even moving. The other crew just stood there watching me fail in real time. Has anyone else tried to show off and ended up looking like a total goof?

Oh man, that's rough but I've been there. The harpoon turn is tricky to pull off even when nobody's watching, trying it at a busy outpost is basically asking for humiliation. Did you at least get a laugh out of the other crew?

Wait, were you at least playing music while you did it? One time I was trying to impress my buddy by doing a sword dash off the crow's nest onto a captain's skull and I missed so bad I landed in the water and a shark got me before I could even swim back up. My buddy still brings it up every time we play, calls it the "sword fail of the century." I didn't even get the skull either, some random crew snagged it while I was flailing around. The shark thing felt personal though, like it was judging my life choices.
