Hot glue gun failed during my cat's lobster costume shoot
I was finishing up a felt lobster tail for my cat last night and the cheap glue gun just stopped melting halfway through the shell. Tried plugging it into a different outlet in my kitchen but it was totally dead, wasted 2 hours of cutting felt. Has anyone else had a craft tool fail right before a pet photo session and had to improvise with tape?

Does the cat actually sit still in the costume or just flop over?

Stick a costume on any pet and right away you see how much they just go with it or fight it. It's like when you try to put a new cover on your phone and you think it'll be easy but the cat decides to flop over and make it a wrestling match. The double sided tape trick works for fixing a loose strap but it won't stop a cat from doing a dramatic sideways fall the second you put the outfit on. You basically have to work fast and catch them in a sleepy moment. Ever notice how the most stubborn pets always pick the worst time to turn into a dead weight?
