Dropped $30 on 'artisan' goat cheese pizza at that new spot downtown

Took one bite and it tasted like they rubbed the cheese on a barn floor, has anyone else had their fancy topping gamble totally backfire like that?

Used to be all for fancy cheese and high priced pizza. Thought quality ingredients always made the difference. Then I spent fifteen bucks on a "truffle mushroom" slice. Tasted like dirt and old socks. Changed my mind real quick. Now I stick with basic pepperoni or plain cheese.
