Changed my mind about that Roseanne revival after seeing the Connors

I used to think the Roseanne revival was just a cash grab, but after watching The Connors for a few episodes last week, I get why they kept going without her. The writing felt more focused on the family drama instead of trying to push one viewpoint. Has anyone else found a spinoff or reboot that actually improved on the original?

Oh you are so right about this. I was just telling my neighbor last week how even the simple things like going out to eat just don't hit the same anymore. I went to a diner I used to love as a kid and the pancakes were thin and rubbery, not fluffy like they used to be. And forget about customer service - nobody seems to care or take pride in their work like they did twenty years ago. Even the music on the radio sounds like it was made by a computer with no soul in it. I feel like we are all just getting the cheap version of everything now, including experiences and relationships.
