Serious question: Has anyone else actually had a paludarium work out long term?
My buddy from high school told me last year that a paludarium would be way easier than a regular fish tank because the plants filter everything. I set one up with a 10 gallon tank and some moss and it's been six months and I'm still fighting algae blooms every few weeks. Did I just mess up the setup or is this normal for someone new to the hobby?

Six months in and still fighting algae here too, it's honestly pretty normal. I had to add a tiny filter and cut way back on light before mine started settling down. What kind of lighting are you running on yours?
