Knocked over my mic stand with my own foot for the third time this month and finally understood why people use the low profile tripod ones.
The cheap $20 stand from Amazon kept tipping every time I leaned over to grab my coffee, so I swapped it for a stubby little desktop stand and now my recording space feels twice as big has anyone else ditched the full size stand for something shorter?

The coffee surviving a trip is basically a small miracle at this point, right? I swear my coffee has a death wish sometimes. But yeah at least something went right. Just wish my phone battery felt the same way.
