Wasted $15 on a fancy towel folding board from Etsy
I saw this acrylic towel folding board advertised as a game changer for making those perfect hotel style folds. Thought it would save me time, but honestly it was way too fiddly and the towels kept slipping off the edges. Gave up after 10 minutes and just went back to doing it by hand against the counter. Anyone else buy one of those gimmicky folding tools and regret it?
Wait, so you actually bought one of those acrylic ones? I saw the same ad and almost pulled the trigger, but I could tell from the video the towels would just slide everywhere. What did you end up doing with it? Did you just throw it in a drawer or actually try to return the thing?
Honestly, did you try a different way to fold them? I actually have one of those acrylic towel holders and it works fine for me as long as I fold the towels really tight and stack them just right. Tbh most people just toss them in there loose and that's why they slide everywhere. Ngl it takes a little patience at first but once you get the hang of it, it's kind of satisfying seeing them all neat. I keep mine on a shelf in the bathroom and it's been good for months now.
