Vent: I called my buddy crazy for using a spoon as a pry bar until I tried it myself

I watched him wedge a tablespoon under a stubborn paint lid and pop it off clean in 2 seconds. After breaking 3 actual paint keys last month, I gave it a shot and it worked perfectly. Anyone else got a kitchen tool that beats the real thing?

Pfft, I've used a butter knife to open more paint cans than I care to admit.

How many butter knives have you snapped doing that? I'm on my third. The handle always gives out first on mine. You ever tried a flathead screwdriver? Way less cleanup.
