inRant: I think we're too quick to condemn topping trees in every single case
You saved a silver maple from being cut down completely? That's a huge win in my book. The perfect choice isn't always on the table. Did the utility company give you any pushback?

inJust saw a new glue-down vinyl job in a Denver coffee shop that's already lifting at the seams
Check if they used a vapor barrier under the rigid core. Honestly, that stuff is picky and needs a proper moisture test first, not just a visual check. Tbh I've seen installers skip it to save time and this is the result.

inVisited the Denver Botanic Gardens yesterday and honestly, their new 'zero-water' native plant section looks kind of sad.
You're right about the plants being built for dry ground, @nathan289, but it's more about what we expect from them. We call a cactus sad because we're judging it by rose standards. Its whole beauty is in surviving where nothing else can. That toughness is the point, not some failure to be leafy. It's like being disappointed a desert isn't a rainforest.

inI finally counted how many times I've done a full extraction facial
Wow, that's wild. Did you end up having to raise your prices because you got so busy, or how did you handle it?
