inWarning: Chasing microns is ruining shop floor teamwork
Ever notice how tight specs force you to trace back every step? We had a part that kept failing, and it turned out our work orders left out crucial details. inJust realized that thorough lock cylinder inspection trumps speedy service every time
But is avoiding one callback really worth slowing down every job? I see @alexbrown's point, but most of my residential clients just want their lock working quickly, not a forensic examination. Last Thursday I had a lady who needed her deadbolt fixed before her kids got home, and a five-minute adjustment did the trick without any follow-up issues. Focusing too much on inspection can sometimes create unnecessary delays for minimal gain.
