TIL a small spray bottle with 70% isopropyl alcohol can save a neck shave

I was struggling with razor burn on a client's neck last week, especially in the summer heat. Instead of just using pre-shave oil, I tried misting the area with a light spray of the alcohol after the hot towel, before the lather. It helped the hair stand up and the razor glided much better. Has anyone else tried a similar trick for sensitive skin in humid weather?

That trick with the alcohol spray is a perfect example of how the best solutions are often simple. You see it everywhere, from using vinegar to clean windows to hitting a sticky key with a pencil eraser. Sometimes we overcomplicate things when the answer is already in the cabinet.

My buddy spent weeks trying to fix his noisy fan with fancy oils. Turns out a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol on the axle fixed it in two minutes. He was ready to buy a whole new unit over a simple gunk problem.

Ever have a squeaky door hinge that drives you nuts? I had one that sounded awful for months. A tiny bit of cooking oil on a paper towel wiped on the pin made it silent instantly, no special spray needed.
