Everyone swears by zip ties but I had a different experience
I used zip ties on my TV setup behind the wall last month and they were a nightmare to cut when I needed to swap a cable. Found out later that velcro straps let you undo things without risking knicking a wire.

Three years is a long time to commit to one cable layout though.

Hard disagree that velcro straps are the answer. I've used both and honestly, how often are you really swapping cables behind a TV? Maybe once a year if that. My zip ties have been solid for three years now and I just snip them with regular side cutters. Never knicked a single wire because I'm not a complete animal about it. Feels like people overthink this whole thing when it's just holding some wires together.
