Had a client in Phoenix ask me to clean a 'small' home office that turned out to be a 400 square foot man cave with a popcorn machine

Honestly, the quote was for a basic room tidy, but I walked in to find a full bar, three arcade games, and popcorn kernels everywhere. Tbh, I spent 45 minutes just cleaning butter off a pinball machine. The guy was super nice and paid me an extra $100, but ngl, my back was killing me after moving all those stools. Anyone else had a 'small room' job that blew up into something crazy?

Organic debris in a reptile room sounds way worse than butter on a pinball machine.

Saw a story online about a cleaner who showed up for a "spare bedroom" and found a full reptile breeding setup with heat lamps and, uh, "organic debris." The quote didn't cover bioactive substrate removal. Makes that butter cleanup sound almost pleasant. At least popcorn grease doesn't move on its own.

Bro that reminds me of the time my buddy got hired to "organize a garage" and it was just a hoarder's nest of vintage car parts. He found a literal engine block under a tarp.
