Hit $15k in a single month for the first time last fall

I was doing a big fence job out in Elgin for a horse property, like 600 feet of woven wire with wooden posts. I usually do $8k-$10k a month solo, but that one pushed me over $15k because I bid it tight and finished in 10 days instead of 14. It made me realize I've been leaving money on the table by not bidding bigger jobs more often. Anyone else have a month that surprised them with what you can actually pull in?

The follow up question is did you pad your materials cost or just the labor? Because the math on 600 feet of woven wire with wooden posts solo in 10 days sounds like you were moving. Woven wire is slow work by yourself. Also what kind of posts did you use? Steel T posts or all wood? That changes the time a lot. I'm curious if you had help on setting the wooden corner posts or if you did that solo too. That part usually eats up a day by itself.

Right, because corner posts set themselves in 20 minutes.

100% solo on wood corners, @wesley_hart knows the pain.
