My new $300 shears were a game changer for my bridal work
I finally bit the bullet and bought the Ichiro shears I've been eyeing for months. They cost about $300, which felt like a huge chunk of my tool budget. I used them for the first time on a big wedding party last weekend, and wow. The difference in how they cut through thick, layered hair was crazy. I did six updos and my hand didn't cramp up once, which used to happen all the time with my old pair. The precision let me get those clean, sharp lines in the braids so much faster. I was actually ahead of schedule for once. It felt like the tool was working with me, not against me. Has anyone else found a specific tool that just made a certain service way easier to do?

Honestly? I've never felt that way about expensive shears. My basic ones get the job done just fine, you know? Maybe it's just the way I work.
