Update: I was wrong about using a drawing tablet without a screen
I spent 2 years swearing by my old screenless Wacom Intuos. Thought a screen tablet was just an overpriced gimmick for people who couldn't adapt. Then my friend let me borrow his Huion Kamvas for a week last month. After 3 days of sketching, I noticed my lines were way more natural and I stopped looking back and forth. The hand-eye coordination thing finally clicked for me. Has anyone else made the switch and felt dumb for waiting so long?

Wait, you seriously went 2 years without trying one? I did the exact same thing with my old Intuos, stubborn as a mule about it. Then I picked up a used Kamvas 13 at a pawn shop for cheap just to see what the fuss was about, and within a week I couldn't believe I'd been fighting that hand-eye disconnect for so long. It's like the difference between drawing with a stick in the sand versus pen on paper, once you feel it you can't go back.
