Switched from my old 2H pencil to a 0.3mm clutch holder for detail work
My lead instructor at the trade school in Tacoma kept pushing it, and after a month on a complex HVAC plan, the precision is unreal. Anyone else make a switch that felt like a total game-changer?
Yeah, that thin lead is a cheat code for tight spots. I keep a 0.5 for most stuff but grab the 0.3 for any notes in the margins, makes a huge difference.
cheat code for tight spots" is so right... i used to think anything under 0.5 was too scratchy but @lane.drew you got me trying a 0.3 and now i'm hooked for margin notes. total game changer.
