Shoutout to the $12 corner trowel I picked up at Home Depot last week

It saved me from having to feather out those inside 90s by hand on a whole basement job, and honestly my wrists are still thanking me, has anyone else found a cheap tool that just works better than the expensive stuff?

Nah, I gotta disagree. That $12 trowel is probably gonna flex too much and leave you with wavy corners after a few uses. I'd rather spend the money on something with a stiff blade that doesn't bend when I'm putting real pressure on it.

Plus, the cheap ones flex juuust right for tight corner work.

Right? I spent $40 on a "pro grade" drywall knife once and it warped after two weeks, meanwhile this cheap thing is still scraping clean. My wrist is giving me a standing ovation every time I grab it instead of fighting with a hawk. Sometimes the budget bin knows what's up.
